Why is Mobdeen different?

Four ideas that change how you parent

Every idea is in the patent application or the doctoral thesis. Some work today, some are being built — we make the difference clear on each card.

Education before rewardsIn development

A balanced reward system, not bribery

Every Mobdeen task connects to an educational value, not just a point total. The patent application describes a Balancing Score designed to keep rewards from becoming a race for points alone. We are applying it gradually.

The weekly valueLive today

52 ready educational values every year

A short 3-minute story, an educational video, a group activity, and a related task. You choose. Your creator lives the value, doesn't just hear it.

Voice before readingLive today

The non-reading creator participates fully

Voice support for every task, from age 4. Originally designed for Miral, the founder's daughter, who couldn't yet read.

Real growth reports — in development

The Clermont doctoral thesis defines seven dimensions of household health: learning, reading, activity, achievement, creativity, screen health, and sleep. We are turning that research framework into an in-app reports dashboard.

Who is Mobdeen for?

You're the guardian. They're the creators. The rest is details.

We named the roles 'guardian' and 'creator' because the app isn't limited to parents and children. Any responsible adult, and any group of kids, can use Mobdeen.

Parents with their children

A home system that balances responsibilities, rewards, and values — designed for every creator's age.

Single parents

A single father or single mother with several children. A complete system that organizes your day, shares responsibility intelligently, and lightens the load.

Grandparents, uncles, and older siblings

A grandmother with her grandkids on vacation, an uncle with his nephews and nieces, an older sibling with younger ones. Roles are flexible: you're the guardian, they're the creators.

Blended and co-parenting families

A father and mother in two homes, or a family with children from previous marriages. Each creator has their own wallet and progress, and guardianship is shared.

Also useful for teachers, educators, and specialists in individual or small-group use.

Real, documented features

Every feature solves a real parenting problem

Eight features serving the guardian, the creator, and the family — backed by the experience of 9,491 users across 6,107 families.

3 simple steps

From chaos to a family system in 5 minutes

Mobdeen isn't a traditional task app. It's a complete educational platform that delivers real value to your children, and gives you a clear view of their development.

1

Create your family

Add guardians and creators in minutes inside the app. Each child has their own profile, voice, and progress level.

2

Set tasks and weekly values

Choose from a ready library or create your own tasks. Every new week brings a new value with a story and an activity.

3

Reward fairly, develop intelligently

A fair, transparent cookie system. Kids complete, collect, and redeem — and you see real progress.

The signature feature

The weekly value: 52 values per year

A ready value for the family every week — a feature we have not found in any other Arabic educational app. Mobdeen creates a weekly family moment with four integrated elements:

  • A short story from Arab and Islamic heritage (3 minutes)
  • A short educational video that explains the value at the child's age
  • A family activity that ties the value to reality
  • A related task that earns cookies on completion
Research framework: The Clermont 2025 doctoral thesis proposes H-NPS and H-CLV hypotheses that link weekly value practice with healthier family communication. Testing those hypotheses with real data is on the roadmap.

The scientific foundation

Built on a doctoral thesis and a patent-pending invention, not assumptions

Every design decision in Mobdeen is tied to documented scientific research. We clarify here what is available today, and what is in development on the roadmap.

Live today

The non-reading creator participates fully

Voice support is present on every screen a pre-reading creator sees: every text and every task is read aloud to them. This feature is a core part of the patent application, and it is available in the app today.

We're at the start of the road. This is what's being built now.

The origin story

Mobdeen started with my children, not a business idea

In 2010, my work kept me outside the UAE for long months, while I returned home for only short stretches. I loved my children deeply, but distance made daily follow-up harder, and too much of the parenting, behavior guidance, and tracking fell on their mother.

I needed a practical way to stay part of their day across thousands of kilometers. Calls were not enough, so I began with the simplest tool I had: an Excel sheet where I listed tasks for Nahyan, Mariya, and Maktoom. They updated it, and I used it to follow up and start real conversations.

As the children grew, I began trying the task-management apps that were available, but they were built for companies, governments, and teams, not children. They were too complex for a child and too cold for a family. That is when I decided to build my own system: simple for the child, clear for the parents, and designed to turn a small task into a moment of connection.

The idea then grew beyond my home. I sat with psychologists, social workers, educators, university students, teenagers, primary-school children, and even kindergarten children. I wanted Mobdeen to be built from real family life and real developmental needs; then it became doctoral research, a patent application now under examination, and an app for every parent trying to stay close and guide with love.

«Mobdeen began as an Excel sheet between a traveling father and his children. It became a system that helps families live parenting every day, even when time and distance are against them.»
